Great location in the Turkish area 🌆. the breakfast was better than expected and check-in was speedy. Bonus points for the nearby parking option.

The location of the hotel quite good, the ZOB and Hauptbanhoff is near, so very comfortable for travelling around. The center is behind too, so good for shopping and sightseeing. The breakfast was decent. The bathroom in the room was very tidy and the santechnics new. The room may need renewal in few years.

The location - red light district, still I was travelling alone and had no trouble about that. The hotel is no smoking, but the room smelled like somebody smoked a lot in it, but I have no complaints about the cleanleness of the room (it was good).

Located in middle of sex district, surrounded by porn stores.

The location is comfortable, so close to a kebab store, great cheap restaurants, and the main train station of Hamburg - couldn't be better. It features great value for money and impeccably clean rooms with a window at the ceiling. - the front desk is manned by a helpful receptionist.

The location was first class, the buffet breakfast excellent plus I was allowed to leave my bag for the day free of charge on the day I booked out.

I picked the Hotel Lumen for its location, close to the train station. The hotel is located on a very busy street. Reception is located up a full flight of stairs with no lift. The lift starts at the reception and goes in between the rest of the floors. The reception area is tiny and the reception staff not very friendly. The breakfast was basic. The room was VERY SMALL. Not much room to even walk around the bed with 2 suit cases . I will look for other hotels on my next visit to Hamburg.

The king room was amazing, and the staff at the front desk were very welcoming, paying attention to details like the carpets and curtains.

There were perfectly clean rooms with a window at the ceiling. The breakfast was above average, the food was fab!

Very friendly & helpfull staff. Good breakfast, continental style,good selection. Ideal location, 5 mins from main rail station, under ground,& surface s-bhan & bus station. Good shopping streets to right side of rail station. Stad rad cycles available by rail station, work like Borris bikes in London. Only 4,5 or 6 stops on under ground to main cultoral sights.1 euro 40 for the journey. Around the smaller streets to the back of hotel, lots of smaller , many cuisine, restraunts, reasonable prices. Would deffinately stay there again.

Don`t be put off by some comments about immediate surroundings,ie the sex shops. yes they are there, but no one bothers you.

I had a pleasant stay at Lumen Am Hauptbahnhof. The location was ideal, close to the main train station and surrounded by a multicultural neighborhood with great cheap restaurants. The room provided a comfortable bed and a functional shower, which was all I needed for my stay. Though basic, the cozy dining room was well-staffed and offered a decent breakfast buffet. The staff I encountered were friendly, despite the language barrier. I would recommend this hotel for budget travelers in need of a convenient place to rest.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made me feel welcome and were always available to answer any questions I had. The location of the hotel was fantastic, just a short walk from both the bus exchange and train station, making it super convenient to explore the city. I also really enjoyed the fact that there were shops and grocery stores nearby, making it easy to grab snacks or essentials.

That the walls seemed a bit thin, as I could hear voices and noise from neighboring rooms. , the street outside the hotel could get a bit sketchy at night with some unsavory characters hanging around.

Price was good and location was ideal next to train station but in semi-seedy area.

Breakfast was below average but free, egg shells in my scrambled eggs, some items out of stock, cheap meats.

Bad internet (could not use it), no Air Conditioning, street full of women selling themselves and men controlling them. Elevator does not work properly. Have to carry luggage by hand in the steep stairs.

This venue is simple and charming, with a fantastic restaurant and friendly staff, located conveniently close to everything.

The hotel is located just 3 minutes away from the Central Station. The value for the money exceeded my expectations. I really expected something more low class, but this was just great. The hotel stuff is very pleasant and helpful. The rooms clean and tidy. If I go back to Hamburg again, this will be my first choice. Thanks!
